Mucosal Melanomas of the Head and Neck: The Role of Postoperative Radiation Therapy Table 1 Patient and treatment characteristics. Patients were staged retrospectively using the 2009 AJCC cancers staging system. Note that most patients were treated in the postoperative setting with conventionally fractionated radiation therapy.
