Monte Carlo simulations for 1000 runs drawn from parameter ranges using Latin hypercube sampling. If 𝛽 is sufficiently small or ℎ is sufficiently large, then the disease can be controlled. Note that ℎ has been constrained to ensure population survival. However, if ℎ is in the approximate range 0.6<ℎ<0.8, then the disease is controlled and the population survives.
