Location	Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila is an Upazila of Kishoreganj District in the Division of Dhaka with 205 villages. Kishoreganj Municipality was established in 1869 with an area of 19.57 km^2. It has a population of 77165; males 52.51%, females 47.49%. Literacy rate among the municipality people is 59%.
GPS location	It is located between 24°28′ and 24°24′ north latitudes and between 90°46′ and 90°50′ east longitudes.

Main occupations	Agriculture 35.77%, agricultural labourer 17.56%, wage labourer 3.41%, industry 1.22%, business 15.22%, transport 4.97%, construction 1.57%, service 8.72%, and others 11.56%.
