The topographic arrangement of the retinal nerve fiber layer indicating the optic nerve and macula. Nasal RNFL fibers radiate into the optic disc like the spokes of a wheel, whereas the large temporal fibers sweep superiorly and inferiorly around the central area of the retina from the periphery.
