Plot of ICA filter/RF size as a function of eccentricity, along with a linear regression line. The size of the RFs was taken to be the area of the Gaussian envelope at full width at half maximum of the Gabor functions fit to the ICA filters. Like neurons in V1, RF size increases with eccentricity [25].
