A Theoretical Approach to Pseudogap and Superconducting Transitions in Hole-Doped Cuprates

The 2D plot of the spectral function 𝐴(𝜔)=∫𝑑(𝐤𝑎)𝐴(𝐤,𝜔)=∫^+𝜋_−𝜋𝑑(𝑘_𝑥𝑎)/2𝜋∫^+𝜋_−𝜋𝑑(𝑘_𝑦𝑎)/2𝜋𝐴(𝐤,𝜔) as a function of 𝜔, with a cusp at 𝜔=0. The negative 𝜔 states by and large correspond to 𝐤’s close to Γ-point whereas positive 𝜔 states are close to (±𝜋,±𝜋). For the comparison purpose, we have also plotted the square lattice tight band DOS in the Hubbard model which clearly shows vHS at 𝜔=0.
