The release of TNF-α and IL-1β was increased both in the striatum (a-b) and the SN (c-d) after mice substantia nigra injection of LPS during one to three days. LPS increased TNF-α and IL-1β production in both the SN and the striatum after mice intranigral injection of LPS in a time-dependent manner.
