qPCR validation of microarray analysis. Two neurodevelopmental genes, Mtap1b and Hmgcs1, that were significantly changed between C and C-D/S groups in the microarray analysis (represented as mean hybridization signals + SEM) were compared with qPCR (mean ± SEM transcript signals normalized against Hprt1). When comparing non-logged fold changes by the ratio method, there was an overall good agreement between qPCR and microarray analysis with a fold change of at least 1.5* observed. ( per treatment).
