results for the fractured layer against CMP numbers: fractured blocks lie between CMP(s) 120 and 410, respectively. There is a systematic increase in the induced attenuation (inverse ) in the direction of increasing chips’ thickness from CMP 120 to CMP 410. However, the attenuation is less at the ends of the line where there are no fractures.
