Serum creatinine level in CE treated and alloxan-induced diabetes rats. Creatinine level was significantly () increased in alloxan-induced diabetic group compared to normal control group. Oral supplementation of CE doses 25, 50, and 100 mg/kg body weight and subcutaneous injection of insulin significantly () decreased creatinine level compared to diabetic control rats.
