Photographs show the aqueous extract of P. peruviana, and the change in color is seen from (a)–(e) after adding aq. extract of P. peruviana to AgNO3 solution which becomes brown to dark brown in color in 2 h. UV-vis spectra at different time intervals. The surface plasmon resonance observed at 452 nm and color intensity increases with time for silver nanoparticles synthesized by P. peruviana extract.
