(a) Homemade prototype slide developed in our laboratory: on a brand new slide, four diamond-cut slide pieces were attached with commercial glass glue so that they could form two fissures—the longitudinal one, where a root is allocated, and the narrow transversal one, for the passage of a razor blade in a steady way.
