Expected (black-stripped bars) and observed (gray-solid bars) nuclear 1C DNA amount in natural Aegilops allotetraploids () having the UM or US genomes and Triticum allohexaploid () having the BAD genome (data from [19]). Nuclear 1C DNA amount of the putative parental species is also presented. The differences between the expected and observed were significant (t-test; ) except those in Ae. neglecta and Ae. columnaris (in these two species a very small number of lines were analyzed).
