Fluorescence emission spectra (85 K, nm) of phytochrome in coleoptiles (right) and roots (left) of etiolated wheat taken immediately after darkness, when all the pigment is in the Pr form, and after saturating red ( nm) illumination at 85 K partially converting Pr into photoproduct lumi-R stable at low temperatures (photoequilibirum Pr lumi-R).
