There was a significant positive correlation between Cystatin-C level and uric acid (; value < 0.05). There was also a significant negative correlation between eGFR and serum Cystatin-C level (, ). The negative correlation implies that as the eGFR level decreases with the progression of kidney disease, there is a subsequent rise in serum Cystatin-C level.
