Local Gene Delivery System by Bubble Liposomes and Ultrasound Exposure into Joint Synovium

DsRed expression in HFLS transfected with bubble liposomes and ultrasound exposure compared with Lipofectamine 2000. pDNA (pDsRed-Express-N1) and BL were mixed together with culture medium and added to the HFLS. The cells were immediately exposed to US (frequency, 2 MHz; duty, 50%; intensity, 2.5 W/cm²; US exposure time, 10 sec.). The cells were washed and cultured for 2 days and then treated cells were examined by a fluorescence microscope original magnification X200. Transfection of pDNA by LF2000 was also performed.
