The concentration of (a) EPO and (b) Hb in healthy volunteers prior to the injection of 500 mg testosterone enanthate (day 0) and four and fifteen days after. A significant increase in EPO was observed on day 4 but it was back to baseline on day 15. Hb was significantly elevated on day 4 and day 15.
