Covalent binding of TFOs to duplex target following UVA. Varying concentrations of (a) TFO DNA-C2 or TFO RNA-C2 or of (b) TFO RNA-C6 were incubated with 5 nM target overnight prior to irradiation with 2 J/cm2 UVA. The products were then analyzed by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis under denaturing conditions and denoted as unreacted (U), monoadducts (MA), and crosslinks (XL).
