Ku70 and Ku80 aligned sequences on the basis of their structures. They show a similar domain organisation despite the low sequence identity. The alignment was created with ClustalW2 [41] and visualized with ESPript [42]. Many residues are conserved (black box) or semiconserved/similar (gray box).
