Intranasal, siRNA Delivery to the Brain by TAT/MGF Tagged PEGylated Chitosan Nanoparticles
Figure 1
(a) Chemical structure of chitosan-PEG-TAT/MGF polymer, 1H NMR spectra of (b) chitosan-PEG-MGF (CS-O-PEG-CONH-MGF), and (c) chitosan-PEG-TAT (CS-O-PEG-CONH-TAT). The multiple peaks of oxymethyl groups in PEG at 3.3 to 3.7 cover over the signals of pyranose ring of chitosan. The multiple peaks at 6.5–8.5 belong to the peptide MGF and 6.5–8.5 belong to the TAT peptide sequence, respectively.
