(c) The tracer kinetics measured using MPI show a wash-in phase and a wash-out phase from the region of interest (ROI) within the brain, while the signal change in the background is negligible [28]. MPI CNR is ideal for functional brain studies, as MPI shows no obscuring background [1, 107].
