95% CI, 95% confidence interval; OR, odds ratio. Predictors of opioid induced constipation defined by simple and multiple logistic regression; crude and adjusted ORs for categories of demographic variables, opioid therapy, and pain characteristics variables. Adjusted ORs were calculated using multivariate logistic regression models. Multivariate model included adjustment all variables with crude association measures with values < 0.1 in the univariate analysis. values for the omnibus tests evaluating the significance of each predictor variable.
