Prognostic Value of Microvessel Density in Tumor and Peritumoral Area as Evaluated by CD31 Protein Expression and Argyrophilic Nucleolar Organizer Region  Count in Endothelial Cells in Uterine Leiomyosarcoma

There were no significant differences in the MVD between LMS and the PA. MVD in LMS at grade 1 phase (b) was higher than at grade 2 and grade 3 phases; however, in each tumor case, indices varied in the same manner as the MVD in the PA.
