Supplementary Figure1: A phylogenetic tree of MT2 (selected from UniProt–Swiss-Prot knowledgebase) was constructed. Phylip 3.69 package was used to construct the phylogenetic tree enabling 100 bootstraps. The cluster which is important for PoMT2 has been marked with dotted line and shown elaborately in figure 6. The arrow indicates P.ovataMT2. Unique MT sequences were represented here according to their Uniprot IDs. Subdivisions of MTs (according to Binz and Kagi [24]) were indicated beside Uniprot IDs.
