Worldwide gastric cancer death rates and peptic ulcer disability rates. H. pylori infection prevalence mirrors the outcome of H. pylori-associated disease. The highest gastric cancer death rates are concentrated in Middle Asia and Middle Africa, whereas the peptic ulcer causes disabilities mainly in West Africa and South Asia.
