Elliptically Bent X-Ray Mirrors with Active Temperature Stabilization

The residual variation of the mirror tangential slope measured at different temperatures inside the container and at the same setting of the benders. The traces correspond to the sagittal center of the mirror. The black, blue, green, and red curves are for T = 21 C, 22.5 C, 23.5 C and 25.2 C, respectively. The primary cause of the residual slope error increase is the temperature within the container.
