Interactions of YhcB and shape proteins are RodZ independent. Indicated plasmids and pUT18-yhcB or pUT18 vector were cotransformed into JE8471 (upper) or JE8471ΔrodZ (lower) and interactions were examined as described in Figure 2(b).
