Observations of Radio Magnetars with the Deep Space Network

The four radio magnetars, PSR J1745–2900, PSR J1119–6127, PSR J1622–4950, and XTE J1810–197, discussed in this paper are labeled using red stars. Magnetars (red squares), rotating radio transients (RRATs; green diamonds), and millisecond pulsars (MSPs; orange circles) are also shown, along with the population of rotation-powered radio pulsars (black circles). Radio-quiet pulsars are indicated with blue crosses and include many of the magnetars shown in red. Lines of constant magnetic field and characteristic age are derived assuming a constant braking index of . The radio pulsar death line is given by the model in Equation (4) of Zhang et al. [37].
