Respondents’ perceptions of symptoms that patients most often complain about while being on various therapy options. For abdominal pain/bloating, which was being identified as the symptom that most affects patients’ quality of life in both CIC and IBS-C, patients who were prescribed GCC agonist appeared to be least likely to report abdominal pain/bloating, suggesting that this agent may be the most effective to alleviate patients with constipation and abdominal pain/bloating.
