Alleviation of Anxiety/Depressive-Like Behaviors and Improvement of Cognitive Functions by <i>Lactobacillus plantarum</i> WLPL04 in Chronically Stressed Mice

<div>Protein levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and tropomyosin receptor kinase <i>B</i> (TrkB) in the mPFC of mice. Chronic stress reduces the expressions of (a), (c) BDNF and (b), (d) TrkB, and such effects are rescued by the <i>L</i>. <i>plantarum</i> WLPL04 treatment. Three independent experiments were conducted in each sample group.</div>
