In terms of electricity supply and battery charge, the PV supplies electricity to the AC load via the inverter and charges the battery directly, whereas the diesel generator supplies electricity to the AC load directly and charges the battery through the rectifier, as shown in Table 4. Also, the battery supplies electricity to the AC load through the inverter, as shown in this table.
