Potentiodynamic polarization of pure nickel and Ni-AlN nanocomposite coatings with 3, 6, and 9 g/L AlN particles using 3.5 wt.% NaCl aqueous solution at a scan rate of 0.167 mV s⁻¹. The polarization curve for pure nickel coating is included to establish a detailed comparison. , , , and are obtained from the potentiodynamic polarization curves and are summarized in Table 4.
