On Pexider Differences in Topological Vector Spaces

Let 𝑋 be a normed space and π‘Œ a sequentially complete Hausdorff topological vector space over the field β„š of rational numbers. Let 𝐷 1 = { ( π‘₯ , 𝑦 ) ∈ 𝑋 Γ— 𝑋 ∢ β€– π‘₯ β€– + β€– 𝑦 β€– β‰₯ 𝑑 } , and 𝐷 2 = { ( π‘₯ , 𝑦 ) ∈ 𝑋 Γ— 𝑋 ∢ β€– π‘₯ β€– + β€– 𝑦 β€– < 𝑑 } where 𝑑 > 0 . We prove that the Pexiderized Jensen functional equation is stable for functions defined on 𝐷 1 ( 𝐷 2 ) , and taking values in π‘Œ . We consider also the Pexiderized Cauchy functional equation.
