Effect of using vaccination only. The control profile associated with the use of vaccination only as an intervention measure in (a) indicates that health practitioners vaccinate about 50% of the population at risk with vaccination within two days and afterward increase the vaccination rate to cater for 80% of the population for 26 days to eradicate meningitis. Changes in the number of carriers in (b) and changes in the infected individuals in (c) show a decrease in these two groups when vaccination is applied.
