Dynamics, Control, and Optimization with Applications 2014
Description
Dynamic systems abound virtually in all areas of science and engineering. The control and optimization of such systems are of paramount importance in many engineering applications, including batch chemical reactions, spacecraft and hypersonic vehicle control, and switching power converters. Control and optimization methodologies are also rapidly gaining in popularity in the financial and biological spheres.
The purpose of this special issue is to explore the latest advances in dynamic systems, control, and optimization and in particular the complex interplay between these areas. We invite researchers to submit high-quality research articles to this special issue. Both theoretical and applied papers are welcome. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Dynamic systems theory
- Dynamic optimization
- Optimal control
- Mathematical programming
- Optimization theory
- Numerical methods for optimization and control
- Convergence analysis
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/aaa/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/aaa/dcoa14/ according to the following timetable:
