Stability Analysis Including Monostability and Multistability in Dynamical System and Applications

Description

Stability analytic theory is to examine dynamic response of a system to disturbances as time approaches infinity. It has been and still is the subject of intense investigations due to its intrinsic interest and its relevance to all practical systems in engineering, finance, and natural science. Inspired by numerous applications and new emerging fields, monostability and multistability analysis have been significantly developed and extended to dynamics involved in differential systems including delay, stochastic disturbance, impulse, reaction-diffusion, and time scales. Especially, multistability analysis will provide a deep insight into a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamic structure of complex dynamical system and is therefore of great significance for its application.

This special issue is focused on stability analytic theory of dynamical system and applications. We invite researchers to submit original research articles as well as review articles on related fields. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Differential, functional, integral-differential, impulsive, and difference equations
  • Reaction-diffusion, stochastic, and discontinuous systems
  • Dynamic equations or differential equations on time scales
  • Neural network
  • Gene regulatory networks
  • Mathematical biology
  • Switching system
  • Modeling and application of complex system
