Qualitative Analysis of Differential, Difference Equations, and Dynamic Equations on Time Scales

Description

The objective of this special issue is to report on the latest achievements in the qualitative analysis of differential, difference, and dynamic equations. It will reflect both the state-of-the-art theoretical research and important recent advances in applications. Differential, difference, and dynamic equations are used for modeling many problems arising in the engineering and natural sciences. Therefore, analysis of qualitative properties of solutions to such equations is crucial for applications. It is important to develop new theories and methods, as well as to modify and refine the well-known techniques, for the analysis of new classes of problems.

This special issue will collect high-quality contributions from leading experts and researchers actively working in the field. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Asymptotic behavior of solutions, including oscillation and nonoscillation, limit cycles
  • Solvability of boundary-value problems and related topics
  • Existence and properties of periodic and almost periodic solutions
  • Stability properties of solutions
  • Applications to real world phenomena

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/aaa/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/aaa/qual/ according to the following timetable:
