A statistical analysis of the structure parameters and contact angle (CA) with the precipitation rates of the month and year the various samples of cicada Cryptotympana atrata were collected. Structure parameters include basal diameter (d), basal spacing (s), and height (h) of protrusions on the wing surfaces. The year refers to the specific year of sample collection.
