The dependence of 𝑄-factor of the ball in high loss medium 𝑄 (a) and resonance frequency shift 𝑓 (b) with respect to the frequency 𝑓₀ on imaginary CP part of high loss outer medium 𝜀₂^′′ (𝑓₀=31.82 GHz is the operating resonance frequency at 𝜀₂^′′=0). The diameter of the ball is 2𝑎=5.56 cm. Polar oscillation index is 𝑛=20 and radial index is 𝑙=1 (the curve 1) 𝑙=2 (the curve 2), 𝜀^′₂=20. The stars denote experimental data points from [13] (the outer medium was taken as water-ethanol solutions at 23°C from 10% to 40% ethanol in water [22]).
