The partial DOSs for different Fe cations are shown. The gap is opened between F e ( 2 ) 2 + and F e ( 2 ) 3 + for majority spin and F e ( 1 ) 2 + and F e ( 1 ) 3 + cations for minority spin states. The gap value of 0.39 eV was obtained by LSDA+ 𝑈 with 𝑈 = 5 . 5  eV and 𝐽 = 1  eV [211]. The Fermi level is shown by dotted line.
