Electrochemical Characterization of Nanoporous Nickel Oxide Thin Films Spray-Deposited onto Indium-Doped Tin Oxide for Solar Conversion Scopes

Cyclic voltammograms of RDS NiOx (μm) spray-deposited onto ITO. Counter electrode: Li; reference redox couple: Li+/Li; scan rate: 5 mV s−1. Electrolyte composition as in Figure 1. The activation of the process of NiOx oxidation is proven by the increase of the current density upon repetitive cycling. No further increase of the exchange current is observed after 70 cycles.
