Normalized cumulative conductivity (at 300 K), i.e., electrical conductivity σ and lattice thermal conductivity , with respect to the corresponding electron or phonon mean-free-path for Si [58] and PbTe [59]. The normalized cumulative conductivity quantifies how material size can affect the conductivity of nanomaterials, i.e., the percentage of conductivity remaining (vertical axis) for a specific size (horizontal axis) of nanomaterial due to the truncation of mean-free-path by materials’ boundaries.
