Expression of Tight Junction Proteins Is Altered in Bladder Cancer

<div>ZO-1 expression is downregulated and ZONAB expression is upregulated in some bladder cancer cell lines. The expression of claudin-4 (a), ZO-1 (b), and ZONAB (c) protein in noncancer cell line (sv-huc-1) and bladder cancer cell lines (5637, UM-UC-3, and T24) was detected by Western blot. The relative grey value adjusted to the internal control <i>β</i>-actin and then standardized to the value of sv-huc-1 is shown by box and whisker plots.
