CRP treatment stalls progression of EAE in wild-type mice but not in FcγRIIB-/- mice. Wildtype (a) versus FcγRIIB-/- (b) with ongoing EAE were injected with 50 g purified CRP s.c. when their clinical scores reached 2 (horizontal line), and EAE symptoms were monitored for 10 days. Controls received heat-denatured CRP.
