CD4⁺CD25⁻ T cells in mHgIA-resistant DBA/2 possess the cytokine phenotype of regulatory T-cells. NZB and DBA/2 mice were exposed to PBS (white bar) or HgCl₂ (black bar) for 5 weeks. Splenocytes were then cultured in the presence of PMA/ionomycin and CD4⁺CD25⁻ T-cells analyzed for the cytokine phenotype of IL-10⁺IL-4⁻ (Tr1 cells).
