(a) Restriction digestion analysis of the canine-HRI-containing pcDNA4 plasmid DNA verifies the canine HRI was inserted into the NotI and EcoRI restriction sites. Digested fragments were separated by agarose gel electrophoresis (0.8%) and found to have a size of 1925 bp. (b) Canine HRI expressed by TNT using a Promega Wheat Germ Lysate kit. Lane 1 shows the [35S]-luciferase control and Lane 2 shows the expression of [35S]-canine HRI. The molecular weight markers are shown to the left of the autoradiography.
