Comparison of the (precut) total cross section for the production of (a) and (b) with the 95% CL upper limits on the production of a gauge boson decaying into two jets (a) and two leptons (b), as reported by the CMS (corrected by acceptance) [65] and ATLAS [66] collaborations, respectively. We have taken , . For isotropic decays (independently of the resonance), the acceptance for the CMS detector has been reported to be [65]. The predicted production rates are shown for TeV and TeV.
