Parameters are set as (sin²𝜃₁₂,sin²𝜃₁₃,sin²𝜃₂₃, 𝛿,Δ𝑚²₂₁,Δ𝑚²₃₂)=(0.31, 0.025, 0.6, 40^∘, 7.6×10⁻⁵eV², +2.4×10⁻³eV²) unless otherwise noted. The mass hierarchy is normal in (a), (b), and (c); so 𝜃₁₃ resonance (MSW) effect appears in 5–10 GeV neutrino energy region. For the inverted hierarchy case in (d), the MSW effect should appear in the 𝜈_𝑒 flux, which is not shown in the plot. The 𝜃₂₃ octant effect can be seen by comparing (a) (sin²𝜃₂₃=0.4) and (b) (sin²𝜃₂₃=0.6). 𝛿 value is changed to 220^∘ in (c) to be compared with 40^∘ in (b).
