Prospects for Neutrino Oscillation Physics

Table 4

Summary of the setups described in the text. From left to right, the columns list the names of the setups, the beam power for superbeams or factor for beta beams or muon energy for neutrino factories, the baseline, the detector choice, the running time in years for each polarity (the neutrino and antineutrinos runs are simultaneous for the neutrino factory), the systematic error on the signal and background, the fraction of the values of for which CP-violation could be determined at 3 at , and the reference from which the information has been collected. For LBNO with 10 kton and 30 kton LAr detectors, the values of the fraction of are given separately for a true normal (NH) or inverted (IH) hierarchy. The number of seconds per year is for LBNO and for T2HK. BB + SPL considers the combination of the betabeam with ( ) 18Ne (6He) useful decays per year together with the SPL described above (with a 500 kton WC detector instead of a 440 kton one). The LENF uses useful muon decays per year per polarity, and NF10 . The results quoted depend significantly on the assumptions made in the analysis and should be treated carefully.
