A geometric
depth map of a local model is shown on the left (this
map is assumed to be defined only over region on the image plane). By combining this
geometric map with a photometric map, a local 3D model can be created, which
can be used for providing rendered views of the scene around the key-position
of the local model. One such view is shown here.
